Martha B. (Smith) Willard

Martha B Willard, 95, of Mount Zion Rd., Sabillasville, MD. passed away February 1, 2018 at the Quincy Nursing Home. Born Oct. 29, 1922 in Lantz, MD. She was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Janetta M. Kendall Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Glen K. Willard Jr. Together they owned and operated Willard's Turkey Farm before his passing in Dec. 1991. She is survived by three children. Eugene Willard and wife Deborah of Sabillasville, MD. Joyce Early and husband Wayne of Greencastle, PA. Bonnie Delauter and husband Dennis of Smithsburg, MD. And her Son-in law Thomas Moler of Smithsburg, MD. Two sisters, Mildred Eyler of Emmitsburg, MD. Josephine Eyler of Thurmont, MD. One Brother Bennie Smith of Sabillasville, MD. Six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Martha E. Moler, and one grandson, two sisters and six brothers Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 11:00a.m. from J.L. Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg, with Chaplain Justine Isbister officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery, Cascade, MD. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Martha to Germantown Church of God, 16924 Raven Rock Rd. Cascade, MD 21719. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Quincy Nursing Home for their kind and wonderful care that their Mother received.
