Barbara "Bobbi" Jean (Hess) Dove

Barbara Jean “Bobbi” Dove, 71, of Emmitsburg, MD, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 13, 2018 at York Hospital following a brief illness. Born Tuesday, December 31, 1946 in Montgomery County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Shirley and Julia Hess. Bobbi retired from Mountain Gate Restaurant and enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family, especially he grandchildren and four-legged children; Daisy, Acey, Roddy and Jack Flash. Bobbi is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Allen Dove, children, Brandi Dove and husband Chester Brooks, Shayne Dove and wife Susie and Aaron Dove and wife Amy, grandchildren, Dalton Brooks, Tanya Brooks, Taylor Dove, Chance Dove and Keelin Dove, great-grandchildren, Briar Brooks, Dustin Brooks and Holden Brooks, sister, Sandy Miller and her children Dane Miller and wife Aimee and their children Julia, Ethan, Emma and Jared, Ben Miller and wife Genetta and their children Mason, Wyatt and Gabbi and Irvin Miller and his significant other Angel Favorite and their children Joseph, Aubrey and Cali. Bobbi was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Dove and one nephew, Nick Miller. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by J.L.
