David Lee McBride, 48, of Rouzerville, PA, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 near Mont Alto, PA. He lived most of his life in Blue Ridge Summit, PA.
Born Monday, August 4, 1969 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of Linda Pearl (McBride) Flohr and the late George Michael Fisher.
He attended Waynesboro Area Senior High School.
David worked many jobs with his most recent being a construction worker for Structural LLC.
He attended the Apostolic Church in Greencastle, PA, and was part of several Bowling Leagues at Sunshine Lanes.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Kansas City Royals fan, and a fan of NASCAR with his favorite driver being Tony Stewart.
In addition to his mother, David is survived by son, David R. McBride and wife Kimberly, sister, Brenda Betz and husband Larry, brother, William Brookens and companion Terrie Joy, cousin, Tina Hadley, uncle, Tim Harbaugh, former wives, Kelly Carter and Carlena McBride, step-daughter, Kristie Miller, grandchildren, Laila McBride and Urijah McBride, and nephews, Larry Betz, Shane Betz, and Zayne Brookens.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Maudie Smith, aunts, Deloris McBride and Beulah “Boots” Harbaugh, his step-father who helped raise him, Lloyd “Short” Flohr, and one niece, Hannah Grace Brookens.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
