Emma Jane (Guessford) Carbaugh

Emma Jane Carbaugh, 84, of Edgemont, MD, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Gettysburg Hospital. Born Monday, April 10, 1933 in Smithsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Daisy (Hurd) Guessford. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry W. Carbaugh. Emma Jane is survived by one son, Jeffrey Carbaugh, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Jeanne Sanders and Carolyn Sprecher, three sons, Steve Sanders, Richard Kline and Randy Carbaugh, one brother, John Guessgord and one sister, Marion Vance. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:00am at Smithsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to J.L.
