Harold R. Willard, 79, of Foxville, MD, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center, Frederick, MD. Born October 15,1938, at Foxville, he was the son of the late Clifford D. and Pearl V. (Brown) Willard. He was Employed by Alpha-Portland Cement Company, Buckeystown, MD. He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, Foxville. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joann E. (Martin) Willard, whom he married August 21,1965, two sons; Jack R. Willard of Sabillasville, Md. and Michael W. Willard of State Line, PA., two daughters; Cheryl K. Fredrikis of Fairfield, PA. and Rhonda D. Conner of Foxville, MD, two brothers, Richard Willard and Jesse Willard both of Foxville, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Pauline Eccard and Ruth Blickenstaff, and three brothers, William Willard, Calvin Willard and Harry Willard. Funeral Services will be held Monday January 15, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 – 8p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral home, Smithsburg, MD.
