Audrey Lee (Hill) Gladhill

Audrey Lee Gladhill, 70, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home. Born Wednesday, October 8, 1947 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth S. Hill and Edna Irene (Rowsey) Churchey. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence H. Gladhill. She was a homemaker and worked as a nursing assistant at several nursing homes in the area. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Woodsboro, MD. Audrey is survived by daughter, Sandy Zeigler and friend Gary, sons, Richard Speicher and wife Michelle and David Speicher and wife Adriane, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her brother, Nicholas Hill, Sr. and wife Nancy. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children’s father, Jay B. Speicher and one son, Jeffery Speicher who died serving our country in Dessert Storm.
