Charles L. “Charlie” Kight, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center of Hagerstown. Born Monday, July 24, 1939 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Elmer Kight and Mary Veronica (Walsh) Kight. He was a graduate of Allegany High School class of 1957. He was a member of Hagerstown Elk’s Lodge #378 and Red Men Tribe #84 of Williamsport, MD. He was owner and operator of Olympia Trophy Company of Hagerstown for over 50 years. Charlie is survived by daughter, Mary Catherine Strong and husband David, sister, Patricia Harrington and husband Ray Hurst, companion, Mary King, grandson, Forrest Batson, great-grandson, Miles Batson, niece, Gwynn Rackers, nephew, Karl Seiler, three great-nephews and one great-niece. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:00am at Red Men Tribe #84, 16129 Lappans Rd. Williamsport, MD, 21795.
