Christian Jeffrey Everhart, 25, of Hagerstown, MD, paased from this life on January 3, 2019.
Born August 8, 1993, he was a graduate of Smithsburg High School class of 2011 and attended Hagerstown Community College.
He was employed by his good friends at Carmine’s Italian Restaurant for several years, later working for Tractor Supply Co.
Christian attended St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. As a child he enjoyed helping his grandmother make pies for the annual craft fair. He also attended Otterbein United Methodist Church singing in the children’s choir.
After years of music lessons and orchestra he was a accomplished musician playing the viola and guitar. He was a member of Boy Scouts Troop 14, played baseball for Valley Little League and Smithsburg Little Sluggers Cal Ripken League, HAYSL Soccer and YMCA Basketball. His favorite activity was Skateboarding, he had the scars as proof.
Leaving to cherish his memory are his mother, Deborah Simpson of Hagerstown, maternal grandmother, Peggy Pownall of Martinsburg, paternal grandmother, Norma Everhart of Hagerstown, aunts and uncles, Pamela and William Borum, Bonnie and Barry Mills, Marian and Max Simpson and Peggy Tinsman, special friend, Corey and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Everhart, his cousin, Adam Mills and his beloved cat, Pepper who was his devoted companion for 15 years.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
