Gail Farone “Tuie” Masci, 82, of Smithsburg, MD and formerly of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at home.
She was born on April 26, 1936 in Albany, NY, to the late Faust Joseph and Harriett West Farone, of Saratoga Springs, NY.
She was a graduate St. Peters High School in Saratoga Springs, NY and Niagara University, NY. She was a nurse for over 35 years.
Tuie is survived by her children, daughter Jean Toth and husband Craig of Abingdon, MD; son Joseph Masci and wife Anne of Frederick, MD; daughter Gail Ortega and husband, Marco, of Smithsburg, MD; grandchildren Jason, Daniel, Joseph, Lauren, Marco and Michael; great grandchildren Rowan and Leonidas; nieces Suzanne (John) Alderman of Frederick, MD; Linda (Albert) Lewis of Johnsonville, NY; Joanne Uris of Raquette Lake, NY; and Kathleen Farone of Corinth, NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Francis Masci, in 2018; brother, John West Farone; and nephew John Faust Farone.
Private services will be held.
