Patricia Ann (Lowman) Mitchell

Patricia Ann Mitchell, 82, of Leitersburg, MD, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Frederick Health & Rehabilitation Center of Frederick, MD. Born Thursday, July 16, 1936 in Leitersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lee Lowman and Mildred Lowman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thaddeus Edward Mitchell, Sr. whom passed away March 17, 2015. She attended North Hagerstown High School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Free Lutheran Church of Leitersburg. She was employed by Landis Machine Company of Waynesboro, PA, for 20 years. Patricia is survived by daughters, Nancy Whitaker and husband Jesse, Bonnie Shaffer Breedan and Linda Howells and husband Paul, son, Ed Mitchell, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Lee Roy Mitchell. A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2-4pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
