Violet Luella (Hone) Lafferty

Violet Luella Lafferty, 88, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Waynesboro Hospital. Born Wednesday, October 1, 1930 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Everett Hone and Gladys (Wilkie) Hone. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Elton Lafferty February 8, 2017. She was a nurse for over 30 years and was an ordained minister. She was a member of the Tribe of Judah Word Ministry of Boonsboro, MD. Violet is survived by daughter, Sandra Moore and husband Ed, adopted daughter, Jeannie, grandchildren, Karen and husband Mike, Billy & David and wife Barbi and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00am at Tribe of Judah Word Ministry, 21226 San Mar Rd. Boonsboro, MD, with Pastor Donald Kretzer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
