GAY LYNN MANNING

Gay Lynn (Reed) Manning, 70, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA.

Born March 14, 1954, in Hico, TX, she was the daughter of the late John Reed and Bobbie Louise Massengale.

Gay worked as an LPN most recently at the Washington County Jail and as In Home Care with private clients.

She was an avid reader, who enjoyed Stephen King, she had a heart for animals, especially dogs, and loved spending time with family, and staying involved with her grandchildren.

Gay was a member of the Antrim Faith Baptist Church, Waynesboro, PA.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Manning and Alicia Manning of Waynesboro, PA, Sheila Wright of SC, Joshua of OH, grandchildren, Zachary Manning, Alex Manning, Nolan Vores, Taylor Manning, Joey Smith, Dominic Miley, Maddox Manning, Selena Miley, Jaden Wright, and Abbi Manning, and brothers, Keith Reed, John Reed and Darrell Robertson, and sister, Karen Woorley.

In addition to her parents, Gay is preceded in death by her grandmother, Edna Mae Massengale Roberson, and special dog, Taz.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 27th from 2-4pm at the residence of Gene and Sally Manning located at 10072 Rinehart Drive, Waynesboro, PA.
