Lois Faye (Gardner) Bailey

Lois F (Gardner) Bailey, 78, died Monday September 19, 2022, at Julia Manor Nursing Home and Rehab Center. Lois was born Thursday September 30, 1943, in Cavetown, MD. She was the daughter of Letha (Smith) Gardner and Clifford (Tip) Gardner. Lois was a homemaker, nurses aid at Fahrney-Keedy Home and Former Ministers Wife. Lois loved her family, flowers, gemstones, and to travel. She was especially gifted with a green thumb and was recognized in the news paper for her flowers. All her Lois’s life, she remained very close to her sister-in-law, Lorraine Twigg, who was a strong figure throughout. We also want to acknowledge her special friend, Mary, who lovingly called her “Louie.” Lois was preceded in death by her former husband Bryan Bailey, son, Larry Bailey, siblings, Ruby Harris Cline and Robert Gardner and her fiancé Charles Innis. She is survived by daughters, Teresa (Bailey) Foster and husband Jim, Leah (Bailey) Neal and her husband Brian, seven grandchildren, Aaron Foster, Zachary Foster, Jesse Foster, Zoie Vaughn, Olivia Neal, Isabell Neal, and Emmy Neal, five great-grandchildren, who referred to her as “GG”, Sebastian, Dean, Naomi, Alice, and Aubrey, sister, Betty Shank, and brother, Ronald Gardner. A memorial service will be held this Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm at New Life Christian Ministries, Hopewell Road, Hagerstown, MD.
