Pauline Marie (Leiboldt) Kent

Pauline Marie Kent, 90, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD. Born July 15, 1932, in Smithsburg, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Keifer Leiboldt and Lola Catherine (Misner) Leiboldt. She attended Smithsburg High School and later received her diploma from the Maryland State Department of Education at age 60, while working. She attended Emmanuel Chapel of Smithsburg. She was employed by Double-day Bookbinding Company of Smithsburg, Kresge Department Store of Hagerstown, and retired form Regency Thermographers of Waynesboro. Pauline is survived by daughter, Cindy Bonebrake-Smith and husband Randy, sisters, Etha Glenn, Dorothy Garling and Patricia Kline, brother, James Leiboldt, special friend, Brenda Biser and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Miller, and Mary Johnson and three brothers, Keifer Leiboldt, Earl Leiboldt, and Robert Leiboldt. A memorial service will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, at 2:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Rev. Jonathan D. Laye officiating. Graveside service will follow at Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Foxville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Pauline Kent to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be offered at www.jldavisfh.com.
