Steven Leroy Spoonire

Steven Leroy Spoonire, 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Doey's House, Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by loving family.

Born on February 3, 1956 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Edith Marie (Hayslup) and Lon Carl Spoonire, Sr..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Daughter, Chelsea Spoonire; Brother, Lon Spoonire, Jr.; and Sister, Janice Spoonire.

Steven attended Clear Spring High School and Huyetts Mennonite School.

Steven served in the U.S. Navy.

Steven was a carpenter, remodeling homes in the Marrietta, GA area.

He attended Lane Run Mennonite Church, Clear Spring, MD.

He is survived by his Brothers, David Spoonire of McConnellsburg, PA and Richard Spoonire of Hagerstown, MD; Sister, Sharon (Spoonire) Flowers of Hagerstown, MD; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
