Official Obituary of
Angela Marie (Hischak) Foland
March 29, 1983 ~ November 22, 2018 (age 35) 35 Years Old
Be the first to offer your condolences on Angela's Tribute Wall
On the morning of November 22, 2018, a beautiful, fierce soul was lost too soon. Angela “Angee” Hischak Foland, 35, a huge advocate for suicide prevention, lost her private battle with mental illness.
Born March 29, 1983, in Alexandria, VA, Angee grew up in Brunswick, MD, and graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 2000. Shewas an amazing person and creative artist who always thought outside of the box. Angee was a tattoo enthusiast, horror film fanatic, and passionate hiker with an obsession for Jalapeno Cheddar Cheetos. Her favorite shirt proclaimed some of her true loves, “Cats, Tats & Naps”. Angee was a fan of the Beatles, The Walking Dead and American Horror Story.
A Rocky Horror Picture Show fan, she lived by the quote “Don’t Dream it, be it”.
Always the first to help friends and family, Angee was known for her kind heart and selflessness. She cherished her daughters, Natalee and Zoee, who were the loves of her life. Her passion for helping others was not limited to just people; she was an active volunteer with MiddleRidge Animal Rescue too. Angee and her daughters helped to foster countless animals and successfully re-home over 30 felines while caring for their own animal family of cats, dogs, goats, and pigs. Angee worked for Washington County Public Schools as the Cafeteria Satellite Leader in Boonsboro Elementary. She adored the students and always went above and beyond to care for them; most recently writing jokes on 89 bananas for them to enjoy!
Angee leaves behind husband Jesse Foland, their daughter Zoee Foland, ex-husband and friend Larry Repass, their daughter Natalee Repass, herfather Mike Hischak, and brother Joe Hischak. Additionally, Angee leaves behind Terrie Walsh, who she loved as a mother, Leslie Nielson who was her ‘Big Sister’, and the countless lives she touched.
Donations can be made in Angee’s name to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, AFSP.org, or to the education of her children by sending a check made payable to: “For the Benefit of Natalee Repass and Zoee Foland” to Leslie Nielson, 7310 Grove Road, #101, Frederick, MD 21704.
To celebrate the life Angee had, the many lives she impacted, and the legacy she left behind, please join in a Celebration of Life in her honor. The celebration will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018, 4:00-7:00 p.m., at the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company Activities Building located at 1 Firemans Lane, Middletown, MD.
