Betty Jane (Smith) Warner

Betty Jane Warner, 87, of Boonsboro, MD, and formerly of Warner Hollow Rd. Smithsburg, MD, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at her home. Born Tuesday, September 29, 1931 near Leitersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy Smith, Sr. and Rosa (Lewis) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Warner, Sr. in 1991. She attended Leitersburg School. Betty is survived by daughters, Kathy Johns and husband Kenneth and Tina Warner and companion Tim Wright, sons, Ronald Warner and John Warner, caregivers, grandson Matthew Warner and companion Ana Martinez, sister, Marjorie Mullenix, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Warner, Jr., one grandson, Ronald Warner, Jr., two sisters, Lorraine Bakner and Pauline Shank and five brothers, Kenneth, Verdean, Calvin, Franklin and Roy Smith, Jr. There will be no viewing. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 1:00pm at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Jonathan D. Laye officiating.
