Brenda Kay (Grimm) Bare

Brenda Kay Bare, 61, of Thurmont, MD, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Friday, February 15, 1957 in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy Baker and Shirley Ann (Grimm) Baker. She attended Catoctin High School. She was employed through the years by Thurmont Shoe Company, The Historic Cozy Restaurant and Country Inn of Thurmont and Crawford’s of Frederick. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Bare, son, Joshua Bare, daughters, Ivy Bare, Devina Bare and Dianna Bare, sisters, Susie James, Beverly Toms, Chrissy Faultz and Valerie Baker and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Grimm and one sister, Terri Young. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 1:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Mark Hostler and Pastor Craig Bush officiating. Memorial donations may be sent to J.L.
