Brett Allen Winders

Brett Allen Winders, 33, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center of Hagerstown. Born Thursday, May 3, 1984 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Mark Allan Winders and Cynthia Marie (Robinson) Blickenstaff. He was a graduate of Smithsburg High School, class of 2003. He was employed by The Elks Lodge #378 of Hagerstown. In addition to his parents, Brett is survived by wife, Ivy R. (Stoner) Winders, daughters, Kendra Winders and Destany Winders, son, Brett Winders Jr., stepmother, Suzanne Winders, stepfather, Ronald Blickenstaff, sisters, Melissa Ringquist, Jessica Winders, Brittany Miller and husband Garrett and Kelly Winders, grandparents, Verda Kathleen Winders and Ned and Corneila Robinson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Dale Winders. Services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Regina R. Beard officiating. Burial will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Brett Winders, to Melissa Ringquist 21100 Mount Aetna Rd. Hagerstown, MD, 21742.
