Brian Patrick Smith

Brian Patrick Smith, 48, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at his home. Brian was a self-employed master carpenter who enjoyed building custom wood furniture and spending time with his beloved German Shepherds. Born Wednesday, April 2, 1969 in Silver Spring, MD, he was the son of the late Robert L. Smith and Maxine L. (Johnson) Stotelmyer. Brian is survived by daughter, Felicia Bart and husband Don, son, Justin Smith, step-father, Les Stotelmyer, sisters, Kathy Miller and husband Denny and Rachael Smith, brother, Mike Smith, step-brothers, Andy Stotelmyer and Frankie Stotelmyer and wife Lori, grandson, Chase Bart, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating.
