Charles Alan Crosen

Charles “Alan” Crosen, 47, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Baltimore, MD, after a courageous battle with heart disease. Born December 24, 1970 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of Cheryl and Edward Burns and Donald Clayton, Jr. Alan graduated from Linganore High School of Frederick, MD, and immediately entered and graduated from U.S. Marine Corp Training in Paris Island, SC. He completed specialized training and was 2531 field radio operator during Desert Storm conflict. Alan was extremely proud of his service as a U.S. Marine. In addition to his parents, Alan is survived by his wife, Rychelle Ramey Crosen, special friend, Sharnay Burnett, five sons, Robert, Charles, Colin, Matthew, and Alan, two grandchildren, grandparents, Robert, Sr. and Christine Crosen, two sisters, Caisha Sanchez and husband Yovani and Amanda Clayton and husband Brandon, one brother, Donald Clayton and wife Lauren, special cousins, Jenny and Bobby and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a favorite uncle, Robert Crosen, Jr. and grandparents, Charles and Freda Deneen. A memorial service is being planned. Details will be announced later. Internment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
