Danny Joe Foster

Danny Joe Foster, Sr., 66, of Hagerstown, MD, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, surrounded by family at Meritus Medical Center of Hagerstown. Born Monday, December 3, 1951 in Sylvester, WV, he was the son of Isabelle Jean (Wiley) Foster and the late Joe Eddie Foster. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Marine Corp. He was a master painter by trade. The highlight of his career was doing work at the White House and having the privilege of meeting First Lady, Laura Bush. He was of Christian faith. Danny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra Elaine Foster, two sons, Michael Keith Foster and Danny Joe Foster, Jr., eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sister, Patty Jarrell, Marsha Doss, and Michelle Hannah, two brothers, Steven Foster and Jeremy Foster and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two nephews, Nicholas Foster and Steven Koser. A celebration of life will be held at Morris Frock American Legion post 42, 405 Northern Ave. Hagerstown, MD, 21742, on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 1-5pm.
