David Godlove Obituary

David Allen Godlove, Sr., 59, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Hagerstown. Born Sunday, May 10, 1959 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late William Russell Godlove and Grace Mary (Burkett) Godlove. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a mechanic by trade. David is survived by sons, Matthew Godlove and companion Jessica Winders, David Godlove, Jr., and Benjamin Godlove and companion Abigail Brook, granddaughter, Hailey Godlove, brothers, John, Herman, Max, Charlie, William and Earl, sisters, Hazel Grossnickle, Katy Peck and Chris Peck and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences may be offered at, www.jldavisfh.com
