Derek Christian Frushour

Derek Christian Frushour, 59, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital after suffering from complications of cancer for the last 6 years. Born Friday, August 28, 1959 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Delphin Lee Frushour and Betty Catherine (Baugher) Frushour. He was a graduate of Middletown High School class of 1977. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Wolfsville, MD. Derek was extremely talented in all fazes of construction and restoration. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Dana Eason and husband Peter and Wendy Ganley, three nieces, Leighanne Eason, Sydney Neel and Isabel Ganley, two nephews, P.J. Eason and Cullen Neel and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wolfsville, MD at 4pm.
