Dolly DeHaan Obituary

Dolly Mae DeHaan, 92, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Brandon, FL. Born Saturday, March 27, 1926 in Harvey, IL, she was the daughter of the late Louis John Stubbs and Katherine (Braschler) Stubbs. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank DeHaan June 7, 2018. She was a graduate of Shenandoah Valley Academy High School in New Market, VA, where she met the love of her life. Dolly was a member of Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church of Boonsboro, MD. Dolly loved her husband, children, grands, and great-grands! She lived a beautiful long life devoted to her god and her church. She loved to sing and study the bible. She was always smiling and had a sparkle in her eyes! She is and will truly be missed! Dolly is survived by children, Larry DeHaan (Cathi), Charla Lagasse (Rickey) and Gary DeHaan (Melissa), grandchildren, Colette DeHaan Peterson (Mazer), Rodney DeHaan, Courtney DeHaan French (Chris) and Christopher DeHaan (Heather) and great-grandchildren, Genessee, Stella, Samuel, Korra, Henry, Hadley and Jameson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Janelle Kay DeHaan and two brothers, Lewis Stubbs and Robert Stubbs. Services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00pm at Willow Brook Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8916 Mapleville Rd. Boonsboro, MD, with Randy Fishell officiating. Burial will be private in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Dolly DeHaan to, The DeHaan Scholarship Fund at Highland View Academy, 10100 Academy Dr. Hagerstown, MD, 21740.
