Felicia Margaret (Riffle) Albert

Felicia Margaret Albert, 91, of Thurmont, MD, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Ministries in Emmitsburg, MD. Born Tuesday, March 15, 1927 in Thurmont, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Riffle and Mary (McCarney) Riffle. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis E. Albert in January of 2017 and one daughter, Melinda Albert. She was a graduate of Thurmont High School. She was a lifetime active member of Thurmont United Methodist Church. She volunteered in the church’s Closed Closet, Thurmont Food Bank and at the election poles. She worked at Claire Frock Company of Thurmont before becoming a fulltime homemaker. She is survived by daughters, Rebecca Thompson and husband Charles and Felicia L. Albert, son, Mark Albert and wife Connie, brothers, William Riffle and Joe Riffle and grandchildren, Christopher Thompson and Ashley White. Services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 3:00pm at Weller United Methodist Church, Thurmont, MD, with Rev. Robert Kells officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm, one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to send a special thanks to all the staff at St. Joseph’s Ministries who took excellent care of Her.
