Irene Josephine Wade

Irene J. Wade, 87, of Cascade, MD, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Ministries of Emmitsburg, MD. Born Thursday, May 5, 1932 at Cascade, MD, she was the daughter of the late Norman E. Wade and Virgie M. (Cline) Wade. She was employed by Clara Frock of Thurmont, MD. Irene is survived by one sister, Pearl M. Weagley and three nieces, Mary Best, Irene Matthews and Beverly Hessong. She was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma M. Wade and one brother, Charles J. “Bud” Wade. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00am at Bethel Cemetery, Cascade, MD, with Pastor Jonathan D. Laye officiating.
