Kenneth Marvin “Buzzy” Hose, 69, of Huyetts Crossroads, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
Born March 28, 1949, in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Speener Marvin Hose and Wilda Mae Laise Hose.
He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Class of 1967, after attending South Hagerstown High for 3 years.
He was Methodist by faith.
During high school and for several years after, Buzzy was the front man and lead singer for the Barrons. They traveled the east coast doing what they loved.
He then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea as a medic.
He worked in the construction field in various fields throughout his working career. He retired as maintenance supervisor for the Washington County Free Library system in 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Tamarah L. Hose, daughter, Janine M. Wildhide and husband, Todd, of State Line, PA; his step-son, Jeremy Perley and wife Jackie, of Woodbridge, VA; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Lucas and husband Floyd and Emily Lucas; one grandson, Elisha Lucas; and one great-granddaughter, Ashlyn. He is also survived by three sisters, Marsha Pickens; Amanda Robinson and husband, Aden; and Melissa Hose. He is deeply missed by his beloved dog, Duchess.

At Buzzy’s request, there will not be a memorial service. He requested that his sisters arrange a “Buzzy Bash” in celebration of his life, to be held on July 1, 2018 (which would have been his father’s 93rd birthday).
