Larry Richard Glass, Sr.

Larry Richard Glass, Sr. 68, of Thurmont, MD, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Frederick, Maryland. Born Friday, November 25, 1949 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert Allen Glass and Audrey Elizabeth (Gebhart) Glass. He was a graduate of Catoctin High School class of 1969. Larry was a former member of AMVETS Post 7 of Thurmont and South Mountain Rod and Gun Club of Smithsburg. He retired from WF Delauter and Son and was formerly employed by 40 West Towing Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and spending time on the boat. Larry is survived by son, Larry Glass, Jr., daughter, Stacey White and husband John, grandchildren, Devon Glass, Mary Alice Glass and companion John and Toby White, step-brother, Jerry Ridenour, aunt, Sally Gephart and cousin Davey Gephart. He was preceded in death by his twin-brother, Barry Glass. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 3-6pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
