Leroy Quarles, Jr.

Leroy Quarles, Jr., 52, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his home. Born July 21, 1966 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Hazel Ann (Lyle) Bethea of Lancing, MI, and the late Leroy Quarles, Sr. He attended Ultimate Medical Academy. He was a volunteer fire fighter and a member of Antietam Fire Company of Hagerstown. Leroy is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melissa Joanne (Rowe) Quarles whom he married January 11, 2001, sons, Anthony Quarles, Christopher Quarles, Devon Quarles and Branden Quarles, daughters, Angel Rowe and Amandah Quarles and husband Jayro Dubernay, special friends, Vickie Royce and Kelly Coppess, uncle, George Lyle and his faithful furbaby, Coco. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 at 6pm at Antietam Fire Company, Hagerstown, MD, with Rev. Todd A. Lady officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Leroy Quarles, Jr. to Antietam Fire Company, 790 Potomac Ave. Hagerstown, MD, 21742.
