Linda Blanche (Buhrman) Miller

Linda Blanche Miller, 71, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at her home. Born Sunday, March 16, 1947 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Irene (Hartle) Buhrman of Hagerstown, MD, and the late Samuel Buhrman, Sr. She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School. Linda attended Jacob’s Church in Fairfield, PA, and Paramount Baptist Church in Hagerstown, MD. She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she enjoyed quilting. Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, John W. Miller, Sr. whom she married December 10, 1967, two daughters, Carrie Gouff and husband Harry and Sherri Moats and husband Kevin, two sons, John Miller, Jr. and wife Barb and Mark Miller and wife Gail, one sister, Carolyn Brooknes, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel “Bob” Buhrman, Jr. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 7:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Richard Daughtridge officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, one hour prior to the service.
