Muriel Mary Brown

Muriel Mary Wilmot Brown, 84, passed away on June 13, 2018. She was born in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England to the late Walter and Lillian Teasdale Wilmot. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard S. Brown and brother, Alan Wilmot. Muriel met the love of her life, Rick, while he was stationed in England with the US Air Force. She was a devoted, selfless and loving mother to the family they shared together. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard Brown and wife Kathryn, David Brown, Mark Brown and wife Peggy, Linda Bivans and husband John; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, along with numerous extended family members and friends. Services will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 3:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Virgil Cain officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Cascade, MD. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-3pm, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choosing.
