Nancy Lee (Spielman) Humm

Nancy Lee Humm, 78, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare Glade Valley Center of Walkersville, MD, surrounded by her son Bill and daughter-in-law Kris. Born Saturday, November 23, 1940 near Detour, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Robert Spielman and Lottie Mae (Keeney) Spielman. She was a graduate of LeGore High School of Frederick County Maryland. She retired from Maryland Ribbon Company of Hagerstown. She attended The Church of God in LeGore, MD, as a youth. Nancy is survived by sons, Bill Humm and wife Kris and Tom Humm and wife Bonnie, daughter, Wanda McGurl and husband Terry, grandchildren, Dustin Humm, Kristen Humm, Jennifer Humm, Katie Miller and husband Eddy, Tim Humm and Jeffrey Jacobson, great-grandchild, Olivia Shay and one on the way, brothers, Bill Spielman, Fred Spielman, Charles Spielman, Lee Spielman and Norman Spielman, caregiver, Sharon Bowers and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Smith and Doris Favorite, one brother, Steve Spielman and one sister-in-law Bonnie Shank. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6-8pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Nancy Humm to Genesis Healthcare Glade Valley Center at, 56 W. Frederick St. Walkersville, MD, 21793.
