Nathan Frushour Obituary

On Friday, October 19, 2018, Nathan Lee Frushour beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend was welcomed to his heavenly home. Nathan was preceded in death just 11 months ago by his wife of 60 years, Rose. Nathan will be lovingly remembered by his daughters and son-in-laws, Tammy Schroyer, Terry and Rusty Williams and Debbie and Jimmy Strubel. Nathan will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Russ and Frances Williams, Ben Williams, and Aaron Schroyer, and his great grandchildren, Nate, Emily and Joshua Williams and his siblings, Boyd Frushour and Martha Lewis. As a teenager, Nathan was inspired by his father to work with wood and became a carpenter and eventually a fine woodworker, doing what he loved for 65 years. With the addition of family, hunting, and fishing in his life, he was an extremely happy man and he shared his happiness with everyone he encountered through his contagious sense of humor. Nathan was an original/lifetime member of the South Mountain Rod and Gun Club. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Paula Main for her loving care, helpfulness, companionship and sisterly attention to our parents during their golden years. A Celebration of Nathan's life will be planned in the future. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, and online condolences may be offered at, www.jldavisfh.com.
