Patricia Ann (Wolfe) Hunt

Patricia Ann “Patsy” Hunt, 87, of Foxville, MD, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at her home following a short illness. Born Sunday, January 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George Nicholas Wolfe, Sr. and Jeanette (Kimler) Wolfe of Foxville. She was the wife of the late SFC Harlen O. Hunt who passed away on March 31, 1987. They were married for 31 years. Patsy graduated from Thurmont High School in 1948. She worked for Ft. Ritchie in Cascade, MD, until retiring in 1998. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church of Foxville, MD, where she was the organist for many years. She enjoyed traveling and cruises. She loved bird watching, books and crossword puzzles. Patsy enjoyed her monthly luncheons at the Shamrock with her classmates. Patsy is survived by six children, daughters, Carol Hurley and husband Dale, Joyce Free and Elizabeth Fannin and husband Shane, sons, SSG Ret. William Hunt and wife Myong, David Hunt and wife Wanda and Steve Hunt, eleven grandchildren, Eric Hurley and wife Denise, William Hunt, Jr., Ann Hunt, Crystal Crouse and husband Matt, Matt Hunt, Brandon Free, Tiffany Willard and husband Tyler, Rebecca Shorb and husband Aaron, Derek Willard and wife Deidre, Nicholas Hunt and Chloe Hunt, twelve great-grandchildren, Naomi Hurley, Jacob Hurley, Luke Hurley, Ethan Hunt, Briana Clark, Alyssa Clark, Joshua Crouse, Logan Kimbrough, Maci Willard, Chandler Shorb, Kaylee Kimbrough and Mia Willard, one sister-in-law, Marguerite Wolfe and special cousin, Betty Lou Boone. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother George Wolfe, Jr., grandson Peter Hurley and sister-in-law Alice Hunt. Services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church, Foxville, MD, with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church Cemetery.
