Penny Lou Tressler

Penny Lou Tressler went to rest with the Lord on Friday November 23, 2018. She was born on October 10, 1958 to Wilbur Tressler and Darlene Stottlemyer Tressler and graduated from Catoctin High School. She attended Award Beauty School, earning her license to practice cosmetology. Penny will be remembered by her family and countless friends as a woman who always put others before herself, especially in time of need. The kindness and love she spread during her time on this earth was felt by many, and because of this her memory will live on through the hearts of others. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Darlene, and older brother Rodney. She leaves behind her loving companion and fiance, Todd Mohr, daughter Megan Shoop; three grandsons, Aiden Sohaili, Bentley Brady, and Cooper Brady. Also surviving are a sister Barbara Tressler and her children and grandchildren: Earle Boller (Alice), Dawn Boller, Bradley Fields, Alicia Fields, Damian Fields and Karter Fields. Family and friends will join for a memorial to celebrate her life on Saturday December 22, 2018 from 11am to 3pm at Monocacy Valley Church, 9861 Old National Pike, Ljamsville Maryland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Monocacy Valley Church, Attention Terry Dawson: In memory of Penny Tressler.
