Rev. Robert Lee "Butch" Kretzer

Rev. Robert Lee “Butch” Kretzer, 74, of Hagerstown, MD, completed his journey on this earth on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center and is now in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born Monday, September 11, 1944 in Keedysville, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Kretzer and Helen Virginia (Edwards) Kretzer. He was a graduate of Boonsboro High School class of 1962. Robert retired from Danzer Metal Works of Hagerstown. He was a member of Virginia Avenue Church of God, Blue Ridge Sportsman’s Association and the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patsy Joyce (Warner) Kretzer whom he married December 6, 1962, daughters, Bobbi Roberta Wivell and husband Kenneth and Tina Flood and husband Adam, sons, Eric Kretzer and wife Danielle and Blane Kretzer and wife Beth, grandchildren, Patrick Wivell and wife Trisha, Lacey Scaletta and husband Brandon, Kyle Wivell and wife Taryn, Joshua Standley and companion Shawnte, Kaytlyn Campbell and husband Zachary, Emily King, Makayla Kretzer, Breanne Kretzer, Amanda Baker and husband Nathan, Braeden Kretzer, Steven Noe and wife Ericka, Seyth Kretzer and Cameron Kretzer, great-grandchildren, Colton Lee Scaletta, Asher Scaletta, Jaxon Scaletta, Gavin Campbell, Luke Aaron Standley, Wyatt Baker, Brody Baker, Owen Baker, Keylee Kretzer and Charlotte Noe, eight siblings and many nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by J.L.
