Richard Herman "Dick" Lewis

Richard Herman “Dick” Lewis, 76, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center of Hagerstown, MD. Born Thursday, October 29, 1942 in Smithsburg, he was the son of the late Herman Homer Lewis and Hilda Rae (Harne) Lewis. He attended Smithsburg High School. He was employed by The Brandt Furniture Company of Hagerstown. Dick is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda M. (Hines) Lewis whom he married May 6, 1994, son, Mike Lewis and wife Sherri, daughter, Lisa Wolfe and husband Jeff, step-daughter, Stacy Ragland, grandchildren, Desirae, Jeffrey, Sheanna, Caitlin, Adam and Madison, great-grandchild, Gannon, sister, Esther Toms and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert Homer Lewis and two sisters, Darlene Oyler and Glendora Cooper. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
