Richard "Dick" Wayne Miller, Sr.

Richard “Dick” Wayne Miller, Sr. 69, of Waynesboro, PA went to be with the Lord, early Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Born in Waynesboro, PA, on October 28, 1948, he was the son of the late Robert O. and Dorothy Wetzel Miller of Cascade, MD. Dick and Dorothy “Dottie” Porter were married on May 21, 1977, at Eyler’s Valley Chapel in Emmitsburg, MD. Dick graduated from Smithsburg High School in 1966, and went on to work in the construction industry first with his father’s construction business, and later worked for Morgan Keller, Inc. in Frederick, MD. Surviving in addition to his wife Dottie, are his children Jeffrey C. Miller and wife Sarah of Waynesboro, PA, and daughter Lacy Reynolds and husband Aaron of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Dick’s grandchildren were the pride of his life- Gabriel, Joel, and Nathan Miller of Waynesboro, PA; Sebe, Nora, and Ezra Reynolds of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Richard was also survived by two brothers, Dennis Miller, and Timothy Miller (Patricia); and two sisters, Donna Miller, and Wanda Ditch (John) all of Cascade, MD. He was loved by many nieces and nephews. Dick had two children from a previous marriage, a daughter, and a son who proceeded him in death. Richard was an avid reader, loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a founding member of Experience Life Church in Waynesboro, PA where he served as a trustee and volunteered at the food bank. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Experience Life Church Food Bank at, www.experiencelifechurch.org Guest will be received at Experience Life Church 118 Walnut Street Suite 108 Waynesboro, PA 17268, on Monday, June 25th at 10:30 AM.
