Ricky Lee Hawks

Ricky Lee Hawks, 57, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home. Born Thursday, March 30, 1961 in Hagerstown, MD, “West End Boy”, he was the son of the late Leslie Clemens Hawks, Jr. and Peggy Ann (Lum) Hawks. He was a member of South Mountain Rod and Gun Club of Smithsburg. He was employed by Consolidated Waterproofing of Beltsville, MD. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan and NASCAR fan proudly supporting Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Ricky is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Lynn (Blickenstaff) Hawks whom he married January 4, 1982, son, Travis Blickenstaff, step sons, Linn Blickenstaff, Eddie Blickenstaff and Brian Blickenstaff, step daughter, Heather Bettis, brothers, Todd Hawks and Randy Hawks, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory Hawks. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2:00pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Major Todd Hawks officiating.
