Robert Lee Leiboldt

Robert Lee Leiboldt, 70, of Paw Paw, WV, and formerly of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Waynesboro Hospital in Waynesboro, PA. Born Sunday, January 18, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Daniel Kieffer Leiboldt and Lola Catherine (Misner) Leiboldt. He attended Smithsburg High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy. He was employed through the years by Double-day Bookbinding Company of Smithsburg, Beachley Furniture of Hagerstown and retired from Rust-Oleum of Williamsport. He is survived by sisters, Utha Glenn, Catherine Miller, Pauline Kent, Dorothy Garling, Mary Johnson and Patricia Kline, brothers, Earl Leiboldt and James Leiboldt and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kieffer Leiboldt, Jr. and his faithful canine companion, General. There will be no viewing. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
