Rodney Vaughn Wolfe

Rodney Vaughn Wolfe, 58, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the home of his companion, Shelly Kline in Smithsburg. Born Tuesday, June 30, 1959 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Joyce Elaine (Robinson) Wolfe of Smithsburg and the late Jason Vaughn “Buster” Wolfe. He was a graduate of Smithsburg High School class of 1977. He was employed by Callas Contractors of Hagerstown. He was a member of Garfield United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, Rodney is survived by sons, Rodney V. Wolfe, Jr. and Jason R. Wolfe, granddaughter, Riley Dawn, Brothers, Ricky Wolfe and Jeffrey Wolfe and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robin Wolfe. Services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 1:00pm at Garfield United Methodist Church, Stottlemyer Rd. Smithsburg, MD, with Pastor Mary Ricketts officiating. Burial will be in Garfield United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3-5pm at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD.
