Susan “Susie” Kathryn Haugh 76, of Pickwick Court in Hagerstown, MD was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Susan was Born in Hagerstown MD on June 11, 1942 to Her late Parents Sarah C and Donald W Evans. She graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1960. Her fondest job was working for the Washington County Human Development Council transporting clients. Her clients were all like family to her, and she loved them like they were her own. She was employed there for 27 years and leaves behind a host of people she loved working with. She was an Avon Representative for over 40 years and so enjoyed taking care of her many customers. In her younger years, she enjoyed drag racing and embarrassing Mustang owners in her prized 1965 GTO. She proudly displayed several trophies, all taller than her, from her victories in powder puff drag racing events at 75/80 Dragway in Frederick, MD. In her later years, she was an avid reader, and enjoyed tending to her many plants and flowers, and enjoying time sitting on her front porch. She loved the Lord, and for many years hosted a weekly Bible Study group in her home. She is survived by her Husband of 47 years, Donald Eugene Haugh; Brother, Donald G “Butch” Evans, Sister-in-Law Shirley Evans, and Brother-in-Law Terry Browning; Brother and Sister-in-Law Tom and Shirley Bazan; Brother and Sister-in-Law Robert and Carol Haugh; Son, Christopher Liston, his wife Penny Liston, Grandson James Liston and wife Carrie, and Great Grandchildren, Emma Jane, Tesla, and Corinna Liston; Daughter Rebecca “Becky Sue” Haugh-Kobs and husband Larry Kobs, Granddaughter, Faith Clevenger and significant other Shawn Bookwalter and Great Granddaughter Jasmine; Grandson Mark Clevenger II, wife Beatrice, and Great granddaughter Thea Clevenger; Grandson Benjamin Clevenger and significant other Claire Wu; Beloved Goddaughter Deanna Houck; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Evans; Sister, Judy Browning, and Dear friend and Sister-in-Law Jeanne Barkman. A celebration of Susan’s life will be held in the Fit room at Fairgrounds Park, 351 North Cleveland Avenue Hagerstown, MD on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2 PM. Dress will be casual. Please bring a covered dish or dessert if able, this is a picnic style event. There is an adjacent playground for the children.
