Vivian Armatha (Creager) Hershberger

Vivian A. Hershberger, 95, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Julia Manor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Hagerstown, MD. Born August 24, 1924 in Fair View, PA, near Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. Creager, Sr. and Dortha M. (Rock) Creager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Hershberger. She was employed by the Waynesboro Knitting Mill as a seamstress. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Hagerstown, MD. Vivian is survived by daughter, Margaret R. Hershberger Fishack and husband Glenn D. Fishack, Sr., grandson, Glenn Dale Fishack, Jr. and wife Paige, granddaughter, Rebecca M. Fishack, and great-grandsons, Chandler R. Fishack and Logan T. Fishack. She was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley Creager, Lennis Creager and Charles Creager, Jr., and sister, Maxine Chamberlin. Services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:00am at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, MD, with Brian Stoops officiating. Burial will be in Smithsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11am one hour prior to the service.
