Warren “Buddy” Harbaugh, 58, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born Thursday, February 11, 1960 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Bud and Patricia Harbaugh. Buddy was a well-known man, who loved his family and friends. Buddy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beth (Blackburn) Harbaugh, son, Scott Harbaugh, daughter, Krista Harbaugh and two very special grandchildren, Cheyanne and Allyssa Klapert. Buddy was a 1978 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He was an avid racer at Hagerstown Speedway known as the “Flying Red Head” and continued his passion for racing through NASCAR. Buddy was an outdoor sportsman. He enjoyed hunting small game and white-tail deer. He took various hunting trips but favored the West Virginia Mountains. Buddy started his own classic car restoration shop in 1990. His son Scott joined the business in 1999 because they shared the same love for muscle cars. He graduated as an Eagle Scout and enjoyed camping with his family. They had great memories with a group of friends known as the “Happy Campers”. Buddy and Beth settled down as part of a camping family at Saunderosa Park. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00pm at Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, 17904 Binkley Ave. Maugansville, MD, with Pastor Mike Carey officiating.
