Wayne Eugene Flook

Wayne Eugene Flook, 70, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Hospice of Washington County Doey’s House with his family by his side. Born June 12, 1949, he was the son of the late J. Edwin Flook and Catherine (Souders) Flook. Wayne was a masonry brick layer by trade. He attended Smithsburg High School. He was a member of Boonsboro American Legion post 10, South Mountain Rod and Gun Club and the Blue Ridge Sportsman’s Association. Wayne was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, yard-sailing and attending estate sales with his wife, Diane. Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Diane L. Flook, sons, Gary Flook and Terry Flook both of Hancock, MD, step-son, Gary Rohrer (Tammi) of Boonsboro, MD, step-daughter, Shelly Hollinger (Brad) of Greencastle, PA, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, five sister, Betty J. Leatherman, Ruth N. Eby, Linda E. Griffith, Janice V. Wolfe and Edith D. Duffey and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Flook. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
