Andrew David Adelsberger (aka Bird), 48, of Boonsboro, MD passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Fairfield Pa.
Born on February 15, 1976 in Gettysburg, PA.
He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents Lumen F. Norris and Etta Mae Norris, and paternal Grandparents, James O. Adelsberger and Loretta Adelsberger.
Andrew graduated from Catoctin High School, class of 1994.
Andrew attended Mount St. Mary's University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.
Andrew worked as a Corrections Officer for Frederick County Sheriff's Department for a number of years, until becoming a contract roofer. The last 4 years, Andrew was the owner and operator of Blue Line Roofing and Exterior.
Andrew was a 4 year member and 1st SAA of Nam Knights of America MC Battlefield Chapter, he was also a member of Sons of American Legion, Post 10, Boonsboro, MD and Thurmont AMVETS #7, Thurmont, MD.
Andrew loved riding his Harley with his motorcycle club and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Kristin Leigh (Wetzel) Adelsberger; Son, Dylan Andrew Adelsberger of Walkersville, MD; Daughter, Maiya Rae Adelsberger of Edgewater, MD; Parents, David Roy Adelsberger and Luretta May (Norris) Brothers Adam Adelsberger, Aaron Adelsberger(Jennifer Adelsberger)and Alex Adelsberger. His father in law Bruce Wetzel, Mother in law Donna Riley, sisters in law Jessica Walter and Anna Valderrama along with multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
