Obituary
Anna Carrol Owen, 89, of Ft Myers, FL passed away Thursday March 2,2023 at her daughter, Sharon's home in Smithsburg,MD.
Anna was born on November 14,1933 in Anderson, IN. She was the daughter of Roy Mitchell and Marie (Rich) Mitchell.
Anna and Lewis Owen were married 45 years. They retired as administrators for Lakeview County Home in Monticello Indiana.
Anna lived in Fort Myers, FL for the past 20 years. She volunteered at the Gift Shop at a local Hospital and worked several years at SAS Shoe Stores. She enjoyed the warm sunshine and shelling on the many beaches in the area.
Anna loved travelling to far off places with her family.
Anna is survived by her daughter - Charlene Owen and Barney Lucid, her son -Stephen Owen and Suzy Greyson, daughter - Karen Shores and Ken Shores, daughter - Sharon Owen and Rick Needy, the grandchildren, Marie Owen-Cox, Bryan Dunlap, Robert Owen, Melissa Shores, William Owen and Natalie Shores, the great-grandchildren, Gabriele Dunlap, Caleb Dunlap, Ethan Dunlap, Asher Webb, Annabell Lewis, Skylar Shores, Kendall Owen, Waylon Warren, and great great grandchild Rowan Dunlap.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Owen, and brother, Robert Mitchell and parents, Roy and Marie Mitchell.
