Adam Michael Roane, 36, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at his home. Born September 4, 1985, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Terry R. Roane and Deborah A. (Smith) Roane of Smithsburg. He was a graduate of Smithsburg High School and was a member of the high school band, jazz band, wrestling team, and football team. Adam Loved music. He could not wait to get to a concert that featured his favorite band. In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his sister, Terra Rogers and husband Brian, niece Ellie Ann Rogers and Braedon Scott Rogers, Rocket Rogers (Dog), Felicia Rogers (Cat), Aunt, Cindy Ritchick and husband Albert, Aunt, Carrie Haenftling and husband Jeff, Uncle, Thomas Smith and wife Melinda, Uncle Robert Smith, Aunt Debbie Young and husband Chris, Aunt, Tina Harbaugh and husband Greg, Uncle, Doug Roane, numerous cousins, and his feline companion, his cat Skeeter. Adam’s wishes were for no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were made by J.L.
