Alice Marie (Carbaugh) Henderson

Alice Marie Henderson, 85, of Cascade, MD, passed away peacefully Friday, January 16, 2026 at her home, surrounded by loving family.

Born on April 18, 1940 in Mercersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Ruth (Shives) and Glen Carbaugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Son, Wayne "Bub" Henderson; Brothers, Charles, David, Bobby and Marvin Carbaugh; and Sister, Lola Carbaugh.

Alice worked for 20 plus years as a press operator for the Stanley Company in Chambersburg, PA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John Arthur Henderson; Daughter, Penny Hall and husband, Bobby; Son, Mike Henderson and wife, Kelly; 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Dorothy McKee (Lewis); and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 7 PM at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave. Smithsburg, MD 21783 with Pastor Marvin "Butch" Neal officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
